Executive Director
Wil Alston
For the past three years, Wil has been serving as a key member of Gov. Bill Ritter’s administration. As the Governor’s deputy communications director, Wil was responsible for helping to craft and deliver the administration’s many messages and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Press Office. Wil brings more than 25 years of work experience in state and federal government, higher education, the non-profit sector, and as an entrepreneur.
Highlights of Wil’s experience include: seven years as an entrepreneur developing and implementing internal and external communications for a variety of organizations, individuals, and events; direct experience administering a Business Development Office contract via the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce; experience working in the Five Points community and its surrounding neighborhoods as a former coordinator of the Juneteenth Festival; working for and with federal, state, and city officials and agencies; and possesses experience in fundraising, management, and social media. Wil is a 16-year resident of Park Hill where he resides with his wife of 15 years, Roz.

Interns
Paige Clarke (DU Undergraduate):
Paige is a freshman at DU majoring in international business and comes to us from Colorado Springs as a Boettcher Scholar.
Brandé Micheau (Recent Metro Graduate):
Brande is a 2009 graduate from Metropolitan State College where she majored in Marketing. She brings much needed marketing and PR support for our efforts.
Ryan Murray (DU Dual Degree Candidate):
Ryan comes to us as a dual degree candidate in DU’s College of Law and their Real Estate Construction Management Program. He lives in the neighborhood and is passionate development.
